Project Management Vs Marketing

Hey guys,

So I want to get a sense of where everyone is at in their game dev. I did a survey via email a while back and the 2 biggest problems that indies seem to face is both finishing and marketing their games. So the tools here (and ones that are planned) are focused around those 2 core problems with the addition of building an awesome community.

With that said I want to see what you guys would prefer:

  1. Project Management Tools (like the tasktracker in projects, or shared games accross multiple owners)
  2. Marketing Tools (like the ability to create press kits or landing pages)
  3. Or more Community Focused tools (link a link library or events like Feedback Friday or Screenshot Saturday.

I have a few things planned, but I want your input. This community belongs to all of us and I want to make sure its equally as useful.

As for me:

1. Project management - nothing I can't take care of with a google sheet, Trello, or just general discipline.

2. Marking Tools - yes, needed. Tools to help present the game less so than tools to help people actually see the press kit, landing page, etc.

3. Community Focused - This is kind of vague. Screenshot Saturdays and whatnot I guess we have already on reddit or twitter. But anything that can... help the avengers assemble, so to speak, would be great
