In no particular order, some stuff I'd love to see added:

1) Sections for the thread shown instead of all new posts at once. It ends up looking cluttered imo

2) Reply to comments on games and the ability to edit/delete them

3) Not be able to accidentally post an empty reply (derp)

All great points man! I appreciate it. Especially #3.

Question for you - whats one of the things you like about GDU? Anything specific? Trying to narrow down what people like/use and what they dont.

Maybe it would be an idea to have a discussion forums for different engines and areas of development.

I mean I am a producer my studio uses Unity. Being easily able to access what is most relevant and then be able to further sort it is what is important to me.

I think this is the greatest challenge with this website. Being able to find what you are looking for.

Perhaps the purpose of the website needs to be revisited and then ensure that the design is in line with that. At the moment you got a few things going on none of which are really working that  well. Give us a reason to keep coming back here. We need to get sufficient value.

Another thing you could do is make a guide for your new experience system so we understand how it works and how can get  reputation etc.

Another suggestion is to form a team to work on this website. Having some other people working with you should help with motivation and also speed up the work.

Great suggestions. I appreciate them. I think for sure the onboarding process needs to be improved, and I agree that navigation could use some help. I specifically wanted to stay away from technical discussions, especially engine specific ones because I think there are a thousand places on the internet you can have hose discussions. GDU I think should be about general game dev across all engines. If there is demand for those type of categories though, I'd be down to add them. Its all about the community!

Question for you...why do you log in? What do you see as the most useful or attractive thing about this site? I'm curious.

I login because I know this website has potential and to see what is new. I will think on what you have said some more. Some great points.
