Friday Night Beers and Dev

Hey GDU!

This is my attempt to reach out to other devs that are currently grinding out their projects on this lovely Friday evening. This is how I spend the majority of my Friday nights: hacking and slashing code with a few tall boys in my arsenal. If anyone is out there we could get Skype chat up and running. Watching Magical legend of the leprechaun with the girlfriend.. shes facebooking and im trying to code.. a little.. was gonna work on my rc hovercraft, but had a little accident with it last night, and the propellor on the brushless motor tried to sever my thumb.. hurts like a SOB.. so coding it is tonight!

we should make GDU friday hangout sessions over skype or something! that would be pretty sweet!

This sounds pretty cool. Thing is I don't have internet at home, so I'd be geeking it up on Skype in front of my girlfriend. :p She DID put up with me playing D&D and Minecraft over Teamspeak so maybe she'll put up with me doing this. I don't have a webcam so I'd be audio only. If this works out I might invest in a webcam.

I’ll probably be on sometime after 7pm on Friday. If you are interested put your Skype name here so I can add you to the chat. I am going to assume it’s going to be text for the most part. Video is fun, but pretty useless while working. Voice is good if we are screen sharing, but doesn’t work in this scenario if you are already working with a team or if you are like me and like to jam while deving. I am down to do a video or voice meet and greet if everyone can control their background noise(including me, I have three kids!).
